Meet the Team

Jerusha is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She recently joined Texas Psychiatry Associates in August 2021. Jerusha worked as a mental health technician for four years in a group home setting where she developed her passion for psychiatry and experienced the great need for mental health care. She pursued her passion and Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Salem State University in Massachusetts. After graduating, she worked as psychiatric nurse in acute care hospitals and in community settings including home care. Her passion for mental health motivated her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She was certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. After graduating, she worked in community setting treating both children and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, addiction and attention deficit disorder. Her goal is to maintain and restore health, provide resources and improve quality of life.
